The oldest of the brothers is Twig (right). Sporting a thick, redneck accent and a crosshatch shirt, he looks much like a true man beaver of the swamp. He loves to eat, and his hunger for any and all kinds of tree bark has gifted him with the natural ability to tell the difference between different kinds of trees based solely on the taste of their bark. He and his father shared a close relationship, and was, therefore, the most affected when the latter died; rather than take responsibility for his brothers, he fell into a deep depression, washing his sorrow away with jugs of moonshine and spending his days glued to the telly. He tends to become very aggressive, cocky, and borderline violent when he gets drunk, much to Todd's dismay. His excessive consumption of moonshine has also addled his brain to some degree, leaving him in a state of constant drunkenness as a result.
The second oldest is Trey (center). When he was a wee kit, he saw people rapping on TV, and he thought it was pretty cool how those humans spoke words really fast and acted like they could do whatever they damn well pleased while doing it. Inspired, he too, wished to follow in their footsteps, and after acquiring a still decent pair of shades and a somewhat busted-up boombox, he began his journey to become the best beaver rapper the swamp had ever known. Unfortunately, as rap is all he knows, therefore rap is all he speaks, and it's nearly impossible to have a proper conversation with him. The same exposure to rap has left him with a personality much like his idols from the ghetto--loud, vulgar, and arrogant. When their father died, his dream to become the swamp's resident rapper pushed him further to strive for his goal, believing that achieving his dream would do his dear old dad proud (ignoring the fact that his dad hated rap music because of how loud it was).
The youngest is Todd (left). Unlike his brothers, Todd is meek and timid, disliking fights and wishing to avoid them whenever possible. Out of the three siblings, he is the only one who seems to have inherited their father's hardworking personality and their mother's kind demeanor. Although he hates the fact that his brothers hardly do anything around the house, he cares for them nonetheless and tries hard to keep their family afloat. He also secretly wishes he had a friend outside the family whom he can share his own troubles with.
I decided to add more characters to my Gator Buddies series. It's fun drawing the gators and Pointy, but they're not the only ones in the vast swampland they live in!
