Once an abandoned child lost in the woodlands of Altana, she was found by her Ehn-Gu stepfather, Takakura, and raised as though she were his own child. Together they lived alone in the forest village of Igusa, in the Ehn-Gu isle of Hikou-Tou in the Aevis Archipelago. Takakura taught her the ways of his people, and how to fight as a kunoichi; under his tutelage, she grew adept in the art of stealth and deception and became an elegant young woman.

Growing up, she was only ever exposed to Ehn-Gu children and found herself an outcast from her peers thanks to her physical appearance. For many years she found solace only in her stepfather's company, until at seventeen, when she met Peter, a low-ranking member of the Valkyrian Church's Templars, who was spreading the word of his organization in Hikou-Tou at the time. The two fell in love, Vir especially so.

Their blooming romance came to a tragic end when Vir inadvertently unleashed her latent Wyrmidon powers following an event where she had to save her lover from a powerful monster. Wyrmidons, a race of half-human and half-dragons, were considered mortal nemeses of the Ehn-Gu after it was revealed that a Wyrmidon was responsible for the assassination of their Ehn-Gu leader nearly two decades prior, and the Ehn-Gu carried out a mass genocide of the species in retaliation. Vir was arrested and put on trial alongside her stepfather, and Peter made no attempt to defend either of them in a jury that was highly biased against Vir's people. Vir was sentenced to eternal imprisonment in the Asunaro Dungeon, and Takakura was forever exiled from the Ehn-Gu; Peter, on the other hand, was hailed as a hero among the Ehn-Gu for weeding out the "corruption" amongst their people, and rose swiftly among the ranks of the Church as a result.

Three years later, Takakura infiltrates the Asunaro Dungeon to save his stepdaughter. He frees her, but he quickly learns that time has not been kind to his once sweet stepdaughter, who had now become a shadow of her former self. Nonetheless, the two plot to take down the Valkyrian Church and the Ehn-Gu by enlisting the help of any remaining Wyrmidons in the Altanan Continent. And more importantly, Vir seeks to claim the life of the man who betrayed her and allowed her life to become forfeit three years prior, and she will do whatever she needs to do to vindicate herself and slay him with her own hands...

Ability Sets:

> Ninjutsu (忍術) - Fighting techniques passed down from generation to generation of Ehn-Gu ninja.

• Flashpoint (電光石火) - Rush forward and catch the opponent unawares with a flurry of slashes.
• Throw (投げる) - Throw an item from your inventory.
• Twin Tornado (二竜巻) - Perform an arching slash using both blades, then follow up with a spinning sword attack that ends with a cross-slash.
• White Heron (白鷺) - Begin with a low sweep of the katana on the enemy's flank. Follow up with an overhead slash with the wakizashi, a rising slash with the katana, and a sweeping horizontal slice with both blades.
• Shadow Specters (影分身) - Create illusions of oneself to confuse the enemy. Each specter only deals a fraction of the user's total strength and disappears when struck.
• Tranquility (冷静) - Channel adrenaline into energy, calming the mind, sharpening focus, and revitalizing the soul. Restores health.

> Meditation (超越) - Transcend humanity and invoke the power of your Wyrmidon ancestors.

• Dragon Dance (竜踊り) - Graceful yet brutal combo of punches and kicks, ending with a savage claw attack that gores at the enemy.
• Emerald Flame (青炎) - Unleash a breath of noxious, green flame.
• Searing Comet (流星撃) - Soar high into the heavens then swoop down as a searing tendril of flame honing into the target. Finish with a powerful elbow jab that knocks the air out of the target's lungs.
• Transparency (透明化) - Blend with the surroundings and become invisible.
• Stinging Virulence (毒針) - Scales on the user's tail stand seething with poison. The user low sweeps the target off their feet then stabs their tail into them once downed.

We return again to the world of the Aether and Radisrol... Featuring my favorite OC this time. 💕 

I've been drawing about Vir every now and then over the years but this is the first time I've actually drawn her in color. This was also the first time I seriously considered what her outfit was supposed to look like outside of Guild Wars 2. While her initial design looked appealing at the time, it isn't sitting that well with me anymore especially after I imagined it in color. (Also wow her profile from back then was when she was an OC in my Pokémon AU fanfic thing. Shit's outdated as fuck, y'all 😅)

This took waaaaay too long but maybe now I can go back to making art prints 😅
