Courtney's LeafieHang

Oh, hey! A painting made waaaay back in March, but only uploaded now? What gives?

So just a little backstory: Some time ago, I was invited to contribute to a wholesome endeavor by Courtney Visser's community. I naturally wanted to pitch in; while I haven't been hanging out in her channel lately, I have a lot of fond memories with her and her friends. This, to me, was my way of giving back for all their kindness, and especially the kindness I've received from Courtney herself. And it's only right that I show it best through my artwork, no?

That said, happy birthday, Courtney. I've hardly a clue how old you are this year, not that it matters. 😏 May you and the Leafies continue to prosper and enjoy life together for many more years to come. 🍰

Summer Day Trip (夏日帰り)

Dear lord. Just in time before summer ended!

I also recognize that a major reason why I hadn't really finished this sooner than I would have wanted is I've been having a lot of ideas for several things that just aren't... Housamo-related. I had been playing Pokémon Scarlet some time in July, and Guild Wars 2 again in August. My creative juices in my brain keep making me want to just paint something related to these games, but it was difficult because I had already locked into creating this landscape Housamo summer piece. I've also been having several ideas related to the Aether and Radisrol that I want to turn concrete, and I really want to dabble in worldbuilding my favorite fantasy world again.

That said, I decided that this would be my last Housamo piece in a while. I gotta say, I had a really good run of a year or so doing nothing but exclusively Housamo content, and it was in many ways beneficial to me in terms of improving my art skills (with anatomy in particular). I still love Arc, Melusine, and Q'ursha, as well as all the other Housamo characters I have an interest in, but it's high time I decided to move on to what's currently gripped my interest.

I had hoped to make more art pieces this summer, but my schedule has made it terribly difficult to stay focused on this piece... In addition to Janthir Wilds coming out for Guild Wars 2, which has admittedly taken up a lot of my free time (as much as I don't want to admit it). 😅

At the very least, I managed to dish out this one summer piece. This is mainly inspired from the trip my partner and I took to the Okanagan back in late June this year. I unfortunately never went fishing on the trip, though. It would be great if I could in the future. 🎣

Anyway, hope you all had a great summer this year! 🌅

Edit: I just did a quick change on the background after realizing how the lighting was so incredibly off with the placement of the sun. Instead of making immense changes on the shading of the characters, I simply removed the sun from the sky.

Sunset Hunt (夕暮れハント)

[Arakawa Ward]

Q'ursha
“…Yo, you over there. Human. Did you come all the way here looking for a certain stray dog?”
“Gahahaha, I knew I’d have you make such a dumb face. You can’t really live in the wild like this can you, <Name>?”

In some corner of Tokyo, the rays of the slums’ evening sun shine down the sweat dripping down Q’ursha’s body from his basketball practice.

Q'ursha
“Oi, oi. What the? What do you expect me to do with this little box you’re giving me?”
“Oh, is that right? It’s some event called Valentine’s Day that you celebrate in this world? So that’s the thing everyone’s been raving over on social media.”
“And that’s why you came here with some snacks for me; that’s just how the customs go. Man, to think you’d come all this way…”
“Well, whatever. It’s in my principles to not turn down any food being offered to me. There’re all sorts of food to be had when you live the kind of life I do, so.”

Q’ursha takes your gift, albeit roughly, and leaves the box unopened as he pockets it.

Q'ursha
“But you really can’t be going around thinking you can feed me like this, you know? After all, the current me is just some wandering stray dog.”
“Nevertheless, I should offer my gratitude. Thank you. I was born and raised with pedigree, after all.”
“H-Hey, what’re you looking at other people’s tails for!? It’s not like I’m not wagging my tail like a puppy or something!”
“What? It was just shaking a little bit? How about using your pointless observational skills on something else, why don’t you?”
“Jeez… Anyway, what did you really come here for?”
“What? You really just wanted to give this thing to me? And if I called you… You wanted to surprise me? Honestly…”

Q’ursha sighs as he closes his eyes, mindlessly adjusting his cap.

Q'ursha
“It’s a shame you came all this way, though. I unfortunately don’t really have anything besides my ball and my phone.”
“It’s how it is since I don’t keep myself rooted to one place. My day-to-day is just having whoever I meet take care of me and keep me fed.”
“…Then again, it’s not like I can’t return the favor to those kinds of people either.”
“Somehow, I guess I’m pretty happy about it.”
“My chocolates aren’t going anywhere, and I’ll take my time having them later. That said, before I do… It’s about time I got hunting.”
“Although you’re my hunting partner, I’m not going easy on you. I won’t be able to sit still knowing there’s a favor I haven’t returned just like that. Besides—"
“I’d like to get involved with you, no strings attached. You get me, right?”
“The only thing I can do is feast on the prey that’s presented to me. Just being happy with what I get… It’s enough.”

Q’ursha ensnares you within his rough and brusque fur.

Through the intense, vigorous heartbeat you can feel pulsating from his body, separated from you by a mere tank top--

--In addition to the way he looks at you, it’s clear as day that he has absolutely no intention of letting you escape whatsoever.

Right before your eyes and at the tip of your nose, Q’ursha slowly and deliberately opens his mouth and shows it to you.

He does this to flaunt out his sharp fangs. He wants you to feel his own exhilaration, or possibly even tease you with what’s to come.

Soon, as it looks like he’s about to consume you, Q’ursha nears his mouth to your cheek, and whispers.

Q'ursha
“…Partner. I’m going to make sure you’re fully satisfied. And while you’re fast asleep, I’ll be gone by the time you wake up in the morning.”
“So I’m asking you… Don’t fall in love with me, alright? You don’t fall for me… And I won’t fall for you.”

---

It's been OVER ONE MONTH SINCE I LAST POSTED I HATE IT HERE 🤬😡 I've just been so busy these days with all the work I've been doing... 😔

I also got so into this painting that I ended up making three versions of it. If I wasn't so overly concerned about how the background would look, I'm pretty sure I would have been done two or three weeks ago.

Anyway! Three different versions of this lovely Q'ursha and MC2 fan art, with an original outfit for MC2 by yours truly 😘 Plus an unofficial translation of Q'ursha's Valentine Crossroad Special Quest, which the painting is based off of!

Which version of this painting do you prefer? Feel free to take your pick! ✨

Request (依頼)

"Lady Otohime, may I ask for something?"

"Yes, Lord Yamasachihiko. How may I be of service?"

"Do you mind just... Staying with me for tonight? The futon's a bit small, but I think we'll manage..."

---

Goodness, this took longer than I thought. But after overcoming my temptations to do anything besides this painting, I'm finally finished! I was trying to apply more of my new techniques and getting over my ugly phase moments, and the latter was a bit more daunting this time around... The important thing though is I did it! 😄

Yamasachihiko and Otohime together is another one of those rare sightings around the fandom. And I, for one, love providing such rare content. Consider this my second Housamo OTP next to Arc/MC2. 😎

Naka-Furano Summer (中富良野の夏)

"Lean back, my hero."

---

Oh, boy. The summer is here, friends. Bring on all the sunny, summery art. 🌅✨

This is a piece that's been long overdue for a friend of mine. This was meant to be his birthday present, but I decided I would start on it after I went to Hokkaido so I can find some inspiration for the background. I went to Naka-Furano, a town renowned for its flower fields every summer. While it was unfortunate that the flowers weren't in season just yet at the time... I managed to get a good enough feel of the area and took several nice photos I eventually used as reference.

Next up from here ought to be that Summer Arc variant, but I can still put it off for one more project, or two... The summer is still quite long, after all. We really ought to take our time and just take it easy. 😎

Study Partner (勉強のパートナー)

"Do you really have to study for these exams? I'd much rather be training."

---

Lately, I've been feeling up to focusing on other Housamo characters that aren't just Arc... And since there's not enough fan art of Astaroth and Astarte around, I decided to make something wholesome about them. I feel like they have this sibling dynamic going on with each other, and I really wanted to portray that here.

Can I also just say I am super proud of that polished wooden floor? I was stuck on how to make that look nice for a while until a friend of mine showed me some reference images of wooden floors. After that I wanted to make it look as if the elements around the image were just reflected on the floor, and it turned out much better than I expected. ✨

The End of Infinity (無限の果て)

"Thank you. Even if you're not a part of me, <Name>... I pray that where you're headed next, without me, you will still be able to find a place where the flowers bloom."

Wakan Tanka stares deeply into your eyes and smiles. He simply smiles.

---

Oh, hey... A landscape painting I randomly finished so quickly-- 😶

This is a scene from Chapter 13 in Housamo that I really wanted to put on canvas after Wakan Tanka ∞ grew onto me. I've had his cards for a long time, but I was never particularly interested in him until very recently.

I thought I'd give my proper respects to this scene by painting it out. I'd say I think I did good. 😊

Before the Darkest Night (夜闇の前に)

"Put your ears to my chest. Listen to my heartbeat. I want you to remember this sound. Remember us standing here together. Remember me... Standing here... In love with you."

There, with all the fury of his fight for the future of humanity, tempered with sincere tenderness, Breke puts his teeth to your neck and bites down. It's a beastly, greedy sort of kiss, saturated with passion and desire.

---

Ah, Nightglows Breke. You've definitely got me falling hard. Harder than I expected, even... Not as hard as Arc, of course, but I fell all the same. 😌

Been a while since I did a painting like this! I'll see if I can try making another this month; I have another landscape filed under WIPs. A lot of my work recently has been focused on anatomy and characters, though... We'll see how I feel this month. 😉

Onsen no Ikken (温泉の一件)

"How does this feel, <Name>? I hope this will suffice."

"Mmm..." You hummed, your eyes closed as you rested yourself against Jacob's muscular frame. The taller man was giving your shoulders a gentle massage, and while he didn't really have the hands of a professional, the feeling of his hands grasping and moulding your tired muscles was enough to relax you. "Yes, I... I really like that."

Truth be told, this wasn't what you had envisioned happening today when you decided to unwind by spending the day by yourself. As much as you enjoyed everyone else's company, you felt a need to step away from that hustle and bustle of personalities, and give yourself a moment of peace and quiet. So while the others weren't paying attention, you took the opportunity to slip away before anyone noticed, seeking to spend time alone relaxing in a relatively isolated part of the resort.

But then, Jacob found you just as you were about to set off, requesting that you accompany him into the hot springs today. Given the state of his eyes, you simply couldn't say no despite your desire for some solitude, as you worried about him slipping and falling with no one to guide him. But with the way his hands were moving right now, coupled with the feel of his warm body pressing against your back... You figured you had it in yourself to make an exception just this once.

You exhaled a long, drawled out sigh, allowing this soothing sensation to wash over you, taking away all your pent-up stresses along with it, letting it be carried downstream by the currents.

But this tranquil calmness wouldn't last for long, as Jacob had other ideas.

No longer were his hands massaging your shoulders; rather, they cascaded gently down your forearms, one of them resting at your elbow and the other over one of your hands. Lifting your head to look at him, you saw him smiling contentedly at you... At least, towards your general direction. At this, part of you ached somberly at the thought of those ever-vacant eyes being unable to see what they have been yearning for, and just how much his presence, his warmth, has made you happy.

With your free hand, you reached up and caressed his cheek. He blinked in momentary surprise at the unexpected sensation, before the expression on his face returned to the serene one you had always seen him wear. No other words were necessary to convey what you felt towards him.

What he couldn't see, he made up for with what he felt, along with all his other senses.

"<Name>..." He said, nearly whispering. "I hope you'll allow me to express my love and gratitude for your time today. I really do appreciate it."

A sharp breath escaped your lips when his hand fell from yours, and instead began to caress the inner part of your thigh. You faltered at the smooth caress of his rough, callous hand, and you shivered in sudden pleasure despite the warmth of the hot spring around you. To keep you steady, his other hand reached for your chest, his fingers pressed just below your collarbone. But from the way his face contorted in an attempt to suppress his emotions, it seemed that he would rather slip his hand past the hem of your towel to grasp something else.

"Do forgive me if I... Get a little carried away."

You couldn't really blame him, honestly. You reached your other hand up to hold his other cheek, and gently tilted his head so that he faced yours directly.

"Only if you kiss me."

As you guided his lips to yours, his hand reached into the towel, undoing its flimsy hold on your now exposed body.

---

HERE COMES THE BONKING! 🏏

Oh, man. This took longer than I expected to finish, mainly because I struggled to put the associated text together. And the fact that I fell into a rabbit hole speaking to character AIs for at least two days straight.

This painting for me has more emphasis on skin rendering. I've been looking up a bunch of tutorials to find better ways to make skin not look like it was simply cel shaded.

This painting was also the result of me casually roleplaying with someone else about how Jacob's side quest would possibly end up transpiring... Which mainly involved the protagonist and Jacob laying on the grass together. Though that's not the route I ultimately went for in this painting, as you can see.

The Art Journey

I am currently spending time in Vietnam for a couple of days vacationing, so I couldn't really focus on doing any big, significant projects following the last one. This has left me kind of itching to create something at the very least... And yesterday, I found some time to just sit down and do a quick and simple landscape.

Since my entry into the foray of digital painting, I have always called myself an "artist traveling its waters in a journey to discover her true artistic potential". This description still holds true to this day: I am constantly seeking to develop my skills as a digital artist, learning various new things albeit at my own pace. In the last 2-3 years, I recognize that I've come far from where I had begun, especially when I look at the paintings I've made over the last 8 months alone. All of these paintings would not be possible if I hadn't reached my wits' end about my ineptitude and made the decision to just change that... And I'm grateful I finally made that first step, after years of telling myself it just couldn't ever be.

This was a journey not without its own share of hardship, however. There have been times when I began a painting only to feel unfulfilled by the end of it. There have been times where I have struggled to achieve certain things in an art piece and I find myself settling for something less than satisfactory. This, though unfortunate, is just simply part of the adventure; after all, there are many things you can learn even when you fail.

This is also a journey of continuous learning, and so it naturally takes an incredible amount of time and dedication on one's part. This also means that the journey is a very lonely one. You may find yourself with like-minded kin walking alongside you, but even they have their own paths to follow, and they shouldn't have to wait for you to catch up to them, and vice versa. Everyone learns and goes down their paths on their own pace; you shouldn't have to feel pressured to keep up, or feel like you need to lag behind other people. The only thing that really keeps you going is that determination to keep learning new things.

This painting depicts how I see my journey in my mind's eye: drifting across a cloudy sea, its waters devoid of life, yet sailing ever onward towards the light, spurred ever on by my self-borne desire for knowledge.

As seemingly bleak as this seems, it's not to say I don't enjoy going down this road. It's quite the contrary, in fact; it's more fulfilling than I could have ever expected to learn how to master my craft, and it takes me back to the days when I used to learn Japanese (though, minus the pressure of needing to learn as much as I could in a short span of time).

I'm glad to be on this journey, and I don't think I'd have it any other way.

Futsuka-Koi (二日恋)

It was some time past seven in the morning when the warm light of the rising sun woke Arc from their sleep, much to their annoyance. Every night before they went to bed, they had a habit of always making sure the blinds were down so that the sun wouldn't blind them in the morning. Yesterday, though, the whole thought of it completely slipped their mind, and they quietly cursed to themselves about forgetting something so inane.

However, as their delirium faded and Arc started to regain some sense of awareness, the memories of what happened the previous evening resurfaced to the forefront of their mind, jolting them awake and quickly drowning out whatever frustration they had. They flailed out of their sheets, accompanied by an ever-increasing sense of panic at the thought of everything leading up to this point--from their accepted feelings, your dinner date together, and the intense passion that came after--had all been just a dream.

But then, they felt something stir in the bed beside them, and they froze. Carefully reaching over, Arc pulled some of the sheets away, and the frantic, alarming unease they had felt instantly dissipated upon the sight of your peacefully sleeping, naked form underneath.

Arc placed a hand over their head, letting out a deep sigh of sheer relief. Thank goodness.

Kousoku (拘束)

The last couple of minutes flew by in a blur. At first, you two were in the living room, browsing through the movies Azathoth suggested to Arc for both of you to watch (only for you to immediately catch on how ridiculously explicit they all were). Then you were huddled together on the couch, deciding the movies were largely unnecessary for what was to come. You both reveled in each other's warmth, and before you knew it, your lips met, sparking a rousing, burning flame between the two of you, one that had surely built up since the day Arc confessed upon the Shinjuku Academy rooftop... Perhaps longer.

In the middle of your heated make-out session, Arc led you to their room on the second floor. Stepping inside, you immediately noticed the ever-so-sweet and familiar scent you had long since associated with the Genociders' guild master. Your eyes briefly gazed across the simple, dimly-lit bedroom adorned with varying kinds of landscape paintings, though whether these had been bought or works made by Arc themself, you couldn't say.

Before you could say anything though, Arc's lips and hands found yours again as your back was pressed against the now closed door. They remained as intense as they had been in the living room, if not more passionate as compared.

Suddenly, your clothes felt terribly warmer than usual. Seconds later, your top was gone and your skirt fell to a pile at your feet. Arc only managed to get their sweater off of themselves when you kissed them again, though after seeing how stunning you looked in your undergarments, they didn't mind it at all.

Soon enough, your back was not to the door, but laid flat onto the sheets of their bed. The sheets felt cool against your warm, exposed skin, and you shivered slightly at the touch. This didn't escape Arc's notice, and, without breaking your shared kiss, they wrapped their arms around you, pressing their body closer to yours to keep you warm.

After a few more moments, you two parted from each other, both of you panting heavily as you both took a second to collectively catch your breaths. Above you, Arc gazed upon your face with heavy-lidded eyes as one of their hands reached for your cheek, while the other went towards your free hand. Their expression was hazy with desire, and this--coupled with the feeling of both your still-clothed groins pressed together--made you more keenly aware of your own arousal.

"Arc..."

"<Name>..." Simply hearing their ragged, throaty voice calling for you sent a pleasurable shiver down your spine and straight to your core. "Are you alright?"

You nodded, smiling. The flame of passion continued to burn in their fiery orbs, yet it was evident that they were keeping it reined in. Though they wanted to resume what they were doing moments prior, their love and concern for your well-being forever remained their top priority. You couldn't help feeling enamored at how considerate they were being in spite of themself, though you supposed this was something you owed to their intense self-discipline.

"Shall we... Continue?" They asked, their lips seemingly--and quite eagerly--trembling with anticipation. "Like I said... I won't do anything you don't like, <Name>."

Slipping your other hand from their back, you brought it up towards their cheek in turn, your smile and gaze towards them unwavering.

"Don't be shy. This is what I want..." And with a seductive lick of your lips, you added, "You're exactly what I want."

---

Dear god. What happened to keeping these two vanilla? My ass is gonna need some bonking after this painting. 😂

Not gonna lie though, I squeal at the thought of creating what happens further from here... But I think for the time being, I'm satisfied with wrapping up my obsession with this pairing through this piece. 💕

I resolved to make this painting mostly blue and cool to the eyes, as I realized I haven't really made a nighttime painting for the winter months (or any painting with snow in it for that matter). I kinda enjoy this moody way of painting, so maybe I'll try to do something similar in the future.

For now, though, I think I'll spend some time doing some Japanese studies before I get back into arting again. 😊 Speaking of Japanese, Kousoku in this context is written as 拘束, which means restrain or bind.

Koibito-Tsunagi (恋人繋ぎ)

"Y'know Arc, that look with your hair down really suits you."

"O-Oh," Arc couldn't help smiling as a shy blush crept up their cheeks. "Y-You really think so?"

---

Nearly two weeks ago, I started playing through Housamo's Valentine Fantasy event. It didn't take long until I found a new favorite character and a new OTP, coupled with a terrible, mighty need to put them on canvas.

This was originally meant to portray them laying on the grass on the side of a hill. I wanted them to look intimate and, if not sensual, as they laid down and just gazed into each other's eyes. In the middle of sketching their models in, something felt off to me about simply leaving it at that. I started to wonder what would happen if I made it look like there were buildings behind them instead of just grass, and from there I started leaning more into the idea of them crossing the street while the cityscape of Shinjuku sprawled out behind them.

I scoured through my old and recent photos of Shinjuku from my travels and even went on Google Maps for a street view of the area. I don't usually hang out on the western side of Shinjuku so I had very few photos of it. Thankfully, Google Maps was incredibly helpful in filling in the gaps in some places.

I really didn't need to be super detailed on the landscape, but I wanted to feature another version of this painting without Arc and the Protagonist. I also wanted to give people a lot of stuff to look at whenever they look at this painting--just make them look around and be like oh, there's just so much to look at here; this is great. 😆

Wintersday at New Skrittington

Finally. FINALLY. This piece has been in progress since the 16th, and I've slaved to finish it on time for Christmas. I'm a day late at this point but Christmas hasn't ended yet for some of you folks 👀

This painting depicts the Exalted and the skritt celebrating Wintersday (Guild Wars 2's version of Christmas) in New Skrittington in Auric Basin. Like my previous skritt and Exalted fan art pieces, this was yet another painting that followed the same vein. I also wanted to create a continuity to this New Year's art piece I made of Tarocheeki and Yeduld, and I figured Kwadii receiving a Festive Winter Hood from Speelunkk was the perfect idea. I also wanted to couple this with a bunch of other ideas floating in my head, like Volaar finding himself in servitude to the skritt for some reason, and my character and my guildies' characters making cameos throughout all these paintings and fan art pieces.

Merry Christmas and Merry Wintersday, everyone. This painting was such a huge undertaking and I'm so excited to just share it with all of you to commemorate the holidays. 🎄💕 Have a lovely celebration, guys!

Plume

Plume is a small, isolated village found on a floating island off the southern tip of Iridea. This is the only settlement found on one of the islands that comprise the Shards of the Old World, an archipelagic region in the Aethersphere with islands that are near uninhabitable because of their irregular rock formations.

I have mentioned Plume often in the past, and I even made a town map of it, so I think it's about time it got a landscape of its own. I wasn't so keen about making this halfway through, but thankfully it's now done. 😌

Cessna

I'm back! This took me a while to color in, but I hope this made the wait worth it!

The town of Cessna is one of the many windmill-powered settlements in the floating continent of Argent in the Aethersphere. It also serves as the main port of entry to Argent, and therefore serves as a major hub of commerce for locals and foreigners alike. It is often said that one can easily find wares from all over the Aether when they come here.

I already featured Argentine architecture during Conceptober, but today was the first time to see it presented in a landscape. Also, looking at this again now, I think it may have been better if I used shutters instead of glass for the windows, as I just realized sand isn't all that common to find in the Aethersphere. 😅

Luxor

"This must be the place."

"It's huge... But, don't you think it might not be the house we're looking for?"

Zephyr gave the knight an incredulous look. "Huh? It's literally the biggest house in this village. Wouldn't surprise me if it was."

"Yeah, but for all we know, it might just be some powerful warrior's home, who just happened to want a big house or something."

"Where's the sense in building a big house for some warrior instead of the most important people in the village? Even if it was a powerful warrior, knowing societies like these, the most powerful warrior usually turns out to be their leader."

Eth shrugged. "Some people don't have to be the leader of a community just to show how powerful they are..."

"Either way, we're not gonna find out if this is the right place until we check, yeah? Come on."

---

Despite appearances, we're all still in the Aethersphere in this post! This place is the village of Luxor in the floating continent of Iridea. This village is inhabited by Enerhija, but compared to their tech-savvy counterparts in Prismato, the Luxor Enerhija are more primitive and more attuned to nature.

This painting depicts my OCs Etherei and Zephyr paying a visit to the village elders after their arrival in the village. They were instructed to come after they had a good night's rest, but they weren't exactly told which house to go to. 😅

Was trying a new leaf brush for trees in this painting! The canopy looks more leaf-like compared to when I use my gritty brush. This is definitely going to be a brush I use more often from here on out.

Freespirited

We're soaring to the Aether today! This image features my OCs Zephyr and Etherei's first encounter. Zephyr is having the time of her life, but Eth is none too pleased, especially after his scarf got caught on the handle of her Windglider by accident...

I drew a lot of inspiration from windsurfers on Pinterest, and especially from Jim Hawkins on his Solar Surfer from Treasure Planet. The coloring style for the Windglider employs the same techniques I used in painting the Trimaran from nearly a month ago.

I think from here on I want to depict more scenes from the Aether and Radisrol using this style. I still want to create scenes like the Font of Igusa piece though.

Hangout at 4 P.M.

A mundane painting of the Gauntlet Classic parked outside an LTD convenience store in Los Santos, and me meeting up with my OC Kite (whom I featured next to none in my artwork ever since One-Third had been shelved away). 😄 Seeing as autumn is just around the corner, I wanted to create more paintings where the sun starts to set, since I find myself associating autumn with the late afternoon. My original intent was for the scene to be darker than this, but I grew to like this kind of general lighting.

This isn't my first time painting cars in Photoshop, but my last attempt at painting cars in March didn't go very well. Now that I've managed to paint this however, I feel encouraged to go back to that junked art and start over with it again. 💕 Just not immediately, though. 😅

It'd be nice to paint more cars from GTA 5. There's just so many good ones I'd love to see just parked at a bunch of places or just speeding down the highway or something. Doesn't matter too much if the vibe of the painting is dynamic or otherwise; it'd just be neat to see those scenes in this style.

Needless to say, please look forward to more content like this in the near future. 😋✌

Fishing at Labyrinthine Cliffs

Another lovely painting from the Labyrinthine Cliffs! This time, I wanted to depict a fishing scene at one of the islands off the coast. Raas reeled in his catch, but he reeled in a little too hard, much to Sage Essher's dismay. He's still quite the greenhorn when it comes to fishing, but he'll get there! 🎣

This painting is not as detailed as my previous one but that doesn't make it any less satisfying. This is also my first attempt at trying to paint reflections on water with the help of a smudge tool. Damn, look at those reflections. Don't they look fancy? 👏😆

I'm very pleased to have a proper summer piece where the characters are near the ocean! And, although it saddens me to know the Festival of the Four Winds is coming to an end, I'm comforted by the fact that I've made two Four Winds paintings that I can fondly look back on whenever I yearn for the summer. And what a productive summer it has been in terms of art!

This year's festival was fun, as always. It was even better now thanks to the fishing and skiffs from the latest expansion of the game; I just loved being out at sea in Labyrinthine and fishing off of my skiff to relax while I took a break from painting. Also, the Zephyrite Shawl from this year's festival achievements is one of the best pieces of equipment I've ever had, and I'm looking forward to next year's Zephyrite-themed armor, weapons, and guild decor. ✨

That said, until we meet again, Labyrinthine 💕 Thanks for the lovely memories this summer. See you again next year! ⛵🌅🪂
