So earlier today, my Japanese co-worker gave me a bundle of toothpicks to use for work. I really only use them to cover up a bunch of ink bottles that have missing caps on their nozzles, and I had none to use until earlier today.
Anyway, from my co-worker, I learned the Japanese word for toothpick, which is tsumayouji (つまようじ| 爪楊枝). I can cross that out of my list of common, everyday items which I don't know the Japanese words for... 📝
