I debated on not putting some speech into this comic. I wanted to maintain the trend of keeping the series as silent comics. But for the sake of clarity, I decided to put in some speech for this comic, which I'll probably keep on doing until this arc is over. 😊

Hello guys. As part of my attempt to dust my site off and keep it going, as well as my attempt to finally kick off my artistic career, I've made a few changes on my blog.

First off...

🐊 Gator Buddies page added! If it wasn't clear enough from most of my recent posts, I will be focusing more and more on creating comics about my gators and other Swamplands OCs. This will be my first real project in my artistic career and I want to dedicate a lot of my art into developing more of the Swamplands lore and culture and telling stories of my characters.

☕ Ko-fi page launched! After overcoming a lot of my anxiety, I have managed to start off a Ko-fi page! As it is, this is merely a simple tip jar for everyone who wishes to show me their support for my art. I would be very grateful if anyone dropped in a tip for me. Every little bit counts!

I'll also be dropping this Ko-fi button on all my posts from now on:

👕 Ko-Fi Merch Shop! In line with overcoming a lot of my anxiety, I have also managed to finally launch an online merch shop! There are only two items listed, but I will definitely be adding more. All of my merch is fulfilled by Printful. Come check out my store here!

🎍 Site background reverted to default. My last background left me feeling so iffy that I had to revert it to the default black background.

🎨 Still moar art! I am quite keen on dishing out more art and riding this high of motivation while I still can. I am very excited to keep posting more of my work!

🎍 New site background. I'm currently thinking of a good design that better reflects the feel of the site. It'll be a while before I come up with anything though...

💎 Crossover logo. I actually have this finished already. 😄 I just need to get it into a banner so I can slap it up on the top of the site.

💰 Patreon?? I already have a Patreon account set up, but I'm still figuring out stuff like tiers. I'm not so sure at the moment if I can possibly handle keeping up with the demand of fulfilling the rewards per tier either. Until then, I will be sticking with Ko-fi for now.

Whew! That wraps up that. And I managed to finish before the end of March! Hooray! 😆🎉

I'm really happy with this comic. I was trying a bunch of perspective things and I'm really liking the results!

4 Years

My girlfriend and I have now officially been together for four years, and to commemorate that, I decided to create some art of us with our gators. 🙂

I wanted to go for a Charles Schulz-eque look this time. It's easy to do it with humans, but when it comes to these gators, it's a different story. Also, those colors are a bit messy... 😅 Still, I'm satisfied.

Here's to more years of me and my girlfriend together. 🥂 Truly lucky and grateful that the two of us are still going strong. 😄

Beaver Bullies (Part 1)

I'm back! 🎉 And I've got more art! ✨ About the Beaver Brothers! 🎊

This piece took me a good few weeks to get into... I was constantly distracted by my gaming. 😅 I'm just quite happy to be able to properly dive back into making Gator Buddies comics!

I'm also pleased with my attempts at perspective drawing here. I was also tempted to use a splash-like brush to paint leaves in all the panels, but I decided to use that for just the third panel and decided to make cartoony trees to better maintain the aesthetic I was going for.

I'm gonna try to get the second part of this series out soon. I don't know how soon, but I'll definitely try to get it released within the month, and not like ten months later. 😂
