Evoland 2 Fan Art Contest: 2 Days Left!

2 days left! As excited as I am, I'm also actually getting more nervous as the clock ticks down… Nonetheless it's the last leg of the race, and I'll have to give it my best now that I've come so far.

So, another preview for today…

Fina was the easiest to paint. At this point I had painted everyone else but Ceres. I was already very used to smudging, so much that I had already lost almost 2/3 of my entire stylus' tip from just doing that over and over and I'll probably need to get a new one.

Those swirling magic effects were a little something I experimented with after I had finished painting her. But after doing the final draft I decided to scrap the idea because it didn't look good with the background.

What was frustrating though was before I scanned her initial draft.

Self-explanatory.

Don't get me wrong. I love drawing characters in poses. Sometimes I also love the challenge of making what I imagine come to life on paper. But goddamnit these hands in this specific pose was hella annoying as fuck to do. Took me a week or so in between working on Kuro and Velvet just to get these hands done right, and an extra 2-3 days after that. Good lord.
